Tony (& Barb) Trapp
Growing up in a Christian home,
Tony committed his life to Jesus Christ at the age of 7. He is a Christian man
first and foremost, husband second and father third. He is a 1986 graduate of
Wabash College where he studied psychology and biology. After a successful
career in the healthcare industry, he left the corporate world and attended
Cincinnati Christian University where he earned his Master of Arts in Counseling
degree with an emphasis in Theology.
He is a pastor and a
professional counselor specializing in improving relationships. After serving
on staff as the Minister of Counseling and Groups at the Discover Christian
Church in Dublin, Ohio, the Trapp’s returned to the Indianapolis area in 1998 to
begin a Christian Counseling Ministry. Soon after returning to Indianapolis, he
was introduced to Dr. Mark Dobbs by a mutual friend and has been a part of ICPS
ever since. Tony and his college sweetheart, Barbara, have been married since
1987. In addition to her role as full time mom, Barb uses her nursing degree
from Purdue serving in a neonatal intensive care unit. They and their four
children are active members of the
Connection Pointe Christian Church where some
of their efforts include leading a couples group, singing with the Praise Band,
and teaching the preschoolers class. Tony and Barb also conduct marriage
enrichment weekends as their schedules allow.
