Angela Georges is certified as a Licensed Clinical
Social Worker in the State of Indiana. She holds a degree in Social Services
with a Graduate Degree in Social Work from Indiana University. Angela is a
member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and received the
Diplomat credential in November of 1994. This is a prestigious credential
recognizing those social workers with outstanding clinical expertise.
She has undergone training for Couple Communication and is an official
trainer. She is a certified alcohol and drug abuse counselor and a member of the
National Association of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Counselors. She has been an
adjunct professor at I.U. School of Social Work providing field instruction for
students for several years. Angela spent eight years working with families in
crisis in the Intensive Care unit at Riley Hospital and in various positions at
Indiana University Medical Center. Four of those years she worked as a
psychiatric social worker for the in-patient program which housed adolescents
and adults. She was a member of the Riley Child Psychiatry Department and
provided individual and family therapy for patients and their family members.
She has specialized in addictions counseling at Cummins Mental Health Center and
with Community Counseling Services.
She began her private practice in 1993 and enjoys working with individual,
families, and groups. She also provides EAP services, and consultation to

Intake interviews can be scheduled by calling 293-7723. Angela currently
provides services through several major insurance companies. Therapy sessions
are approximately 60 minutes in length with payment due at the time of service.
